Uday Bhonde is Project Coordinator at the National Institute of Urban Affairs. His interests are in the field of sustainable urban water management, disaster risk reduction, and innovations in urban WASH sector. He has 10 years of experience in sustainable urban water and sanitation management. He is involved in the National Mission for Clean Ganga Project to prepare the Urban River Management Plan framework. He has published several research articles in peer reviewed international and national journals. He is a life member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing.
Prior to joining NIUA, previously he was a Deputy Programme Manager at CSE. Uday was awarded the scholarship by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), He is Ph.D. in Geology from the M. S. University of Baroda.
