Institute of Urban Affairs under Indo-USAID FIRE (D) Project organized a
National Workshop on Capacity Building and Dissemination on 31 July, 2009
at NIUA, New Delhi.
This workshop provided a platform to share experiences of training network institutes and selected City Manager's Associations developed under the FIRE (D) Project. It aimed to capture aspirations and determine roles played by stakeholders towards promoting a more sustainable and inclusive urban development and management. The workshop was attended by Research and Training Institutes; select City Manager's Association, USAID, WSP, technical Cell, JnNURM and experts working on urban issues.
