Ms. Deepti Mukherjee visits NIUA

Ms.
Deepti Mukherjee, IAS, Project Director, ADB supported Urban Water Supply
& Environmental Improvement in Madhya Pradesh Project (Uday) and DFID
supported MP Urban Services for the Poor Project (Utthan) visited NIUA on
Jan 15, 2009 and held discussions with the NIUA senior staff. NIUA has
offered to conduct capacity building programs on financial management and
urban management for urban officials in the State. NIUA will explore the
possibility of signing a long term technical support program with MP urban
projects.
NIUA has expressed interest in providing long-term technical support to urban sector in the state. |
