Master's degree in History from the Kumaun University, Nainital (Uttarakhand), B.Lib.Sc. from Delhi University and M.L.I.S. from Annamalai University. Worked in a "Bibliography on Urban Studies" project funded by the Ford Foundation.Working as Librarian in the Institute since last 22 years. Published a bibliography on Cities in a magazine entitled "Seminar" and bibliographies on Environment and Housing in the Institute's Journal entitled "Urban India". Also published Author and Title Indexes of the Institute's Journal in Urban India. The same (Author and Title Indexes) have
also put in the Institute's Web site. Brought out bi-annual document entitled  Urban File (Bibliography on urban related subjects) from 1993 to 2005. Binging out Urban News (Newsclippings on Urban related subjects) since 1992 to date.
