Masters in Economics and Commerce
S.P. Tyagi, Research Analyst, is a postgraduate in Economics and Commerce, has a professional experience of working in the institute for more than 24 years and before that has more than two years of working experience in TCPO. He has been involved in a series of research studies and has supervised/organised field surveys of various projects and interacted with various NGOs working in Delhi slums. At present, he is working with GOI-UNDP Project on National Strategy for Urban Poor (NCR Component) where he is associated with the regular field visit for reviewing the activities of NGOs working in two of the six geographical locations, Bawana and Jahangirpuri.  His areas of interests are Urban Povery, Employment, Informal Sector, Urban Infrastructure, Urban Slum Development, Urban Migration and Urban Basic Services.
