Description
The UTI Institute of Capital Markets was established in 1989, with the objective of supporting the need of the investment community for professional education, training and research.

The rapid strides that the Indian economy has taken since the 1980s, and the challenges thrown open by the liberalisation process initiated in the 1990s, have necessitated increased professionalism of the financial service industry.

The need for specialists and sophisticated analysts in the capital markets is being increasingly felt in the context of the changed economic environment.

The UTI Institute of Capital Markets serves these needs through a multi-pronged approach that combines training and research.
