Promila Jain, Research Analyst at the Institute is M.A. in Economics and has more than 20 years professional experience in the urban sector. Worked as team member in many research studies related to urbanization, migration, urban informal sector and urban poverty. Also jointly brought out three volumes of Urban Statistical Handbooks. Also involved in NIUA's Clearinghouse of information website containing six databases. My current areas of interest are Urban Statistics, Urbanization and Urban Development.
