Global Water for Sustainability Program

Prof. Michael E. McClain of Florida University and Mr. Anand Rudra, Office of Economic Growth, USAID visited NIUA to discuss the Global Water for Sustainability Program supported by USAID. The program plans to support Business Alliance On Water And Tsunami Affected Areas Project in South India.

Prof. Michael and Mr. Rudra had discussions with Prof. Chetan Vaidya and Dr. Debjani Ghosh of NIUA to explore the possibility of working together on various urban issues. One of the partner of the program is Public Utilities Research Centre of the University. This centre may be interested in having exchange of visits between NIUA and the University. Prof. Vaidya offered to provide dissemination of lessons learned from the two ongoing projects in India.
