DFID Team Visits NIUA

Mr. Stephen Young and Ms. Debashree Mukherjee of Department For International Development (DFID), UK visited NIUA on 25th April 2008.  They had very interesting and useful discussions with Prof. Chetan Vaidya and Ms. Paramita Datta Dey. 
They also visited the Urban Poverty Reduction Centre of NIUA.  DFID and NIUA will continue the discussions to explore the possibility of working on urban poverty alleviation programmes in India .
