Ms. Satmohini Ray, Senior Research Fellow made a keynote presentation on 'Climate Change and Sustainable Cities' in Delhi University on 1 December, as part of 'Globe 2009' event organized by the Geography Society of Miranda House. The event was attended by students and faculty of nearly 15 colleges of Delhi University. The presentation was titled 'Climate Change and Sustainable Cities' and constituted of two segments - first on linkages to climate change and need for sustainable development in Indian cities, and the second on the ongoing CityForm India Project, which was very well received by the audience. |
