NIUA Designated As Coordinator For PEARL Under JNNURM |

The Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee on JNNURM designated NIUA as the National Coordinator for Peer Experience and Reflective Learning (PEARL) programme for enabling knowledge sharing amongst JNNURM cities in various areas of urban reforms and city governance. PEARL is an initiative under JNNURM to support cities to actively pursue activities in implementation of projects and reforms. Cities can network amongst themselves for cross learning and sharing information on financing urban infrastructure and other aspects of urban development, leading to effective management. Cross learning amongst cities would be enabled through dissemination of best practices and reforms through and urban portal website, Best Practice documentation, Newsletters and National Workshops. |
