Land based fiscal tools

A one day national workshop 'Land Based Fiscal Tools' is being organised by MoUD under the PEARL (Peer Experience and Reflective Learning) Programme, in collaboration with the CBUD project supported by the World Bank. The Ministry had initiated actions to carry out an Inter-state comparative study of Land based Tools for exploring additional and innovative ways of generating financial resources for significant expansion of infrastructure in the Indian cities under CBUD projects. Accordingly the services of Shri Vidyadhar K Phatak, former Principal Chief, Town and Country Planning division in Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) were hired for the purpose. The workshop will thus discuss feedback on the report submitted by Shri Vidyadhar Phatak.
