Dr.Debolina Kundu is an Associate Professor at the Institute and has about 15 years of professional experience in the field of urban development, including urban land tenure, municipal finance and urban governance. She has a Ph.D degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has been engaged as a consultant with several national and international organizations, e.g., National Institute of Urban Affairs, Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, United Nations Development Programme, UNESCAP, KfW Germany, GTZ, India, Urban Institute, Washington etc. on issues of urban development and governance. She is also a visiting faculty to YASHADA, Pune and IIDS, New Delhi and associated with IGNOU as a course writer for their postgraduate curriculum. She has a large number of publications in books and journals of international and national repute with the Sage, Oxford etc.
