	M. Ahmed mahmed@niua.org Masters in Economics

M. Ahmed is a Junior Research Officer at the Institute. He has about 24 years of professional experience in the urban sector. He has a masters Degree in Economics from Gorakhpur University (U. P.). He has worked in research studies related to Urbanization, Urban Basic Services, Migration, Urban Informal Sector, Urban Poverty, Structure and Dynamics of Urban Economy, Status of Water Sappy Sanitation and Solid Waste Management, Impact Assessment of Training of Women Councillors amongst other. He is currently involved in GOI – UNDP Project “National Strategy for Urban Poor NCR Component” and is working as team member having regular field visit for reviewing the activities of NGOs working in two of the six geographical locations, Dakshinpuri & Kalyanpuri.
